Course Registration & Payment

To enroll in any SmartCarry course, students must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to apply for a Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL). Payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. Course pricing and availability may change without notice.

Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your class up to 72 hours before the scheduled date for a full refund or a one-time reschedule. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class may not be eligible for a refund. No-shows or same-day cancellations will forfeit the class fee. SmartCarry reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to low enrollment, weather, or safety concerns. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.

Student Requirements

All students must present a valid government-issued photo ID on the day of class. You must be mentally and physically capable of safely handling a firearm. If bringing your own firearm, it must be unloaded and stored safely until directed by the instructor. Any student suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be removed from the class without a refund.

Safety Policy

Safety is our top priority at SmartCarry. All participants must follow instructor guidance and range rules at all times. Unsafe or disruptive behavior will result in immediate dismissal from the course without refund. Instructors reserve the right to remove any student who poses a risk to themselves or others.

Certification & Legal Disclaimer

Completing a CPL course does not guarantee that a CPL will be issued by the State of Michigan. Licensing decisions are made by your local county clerk and law enforcement agencies. SmartCarry provides educational content only and does not offer legal advice.
